The Montvale Senior & Community Center is home to the Montvale Senior Club—an active, welcoming community for residents 55 years and older. Membership is open to current Montvale residents and former members who have since moved away.

Membership Information

Eligibility:

• Montvale residents aged 55+
• Former members now living outside Montvale

How to Apply:

If membership is full, applicants will be placed on a waiting list, reviewed quarterly as space becomes available.

Annual Dues:

• $20 per year
• $2 contribution at each Business Meeting for refreshments (snacks, coffee, tea)

Club Meetings

Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month (excluding July and August) from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM.

• First Thursday: Business Meeting
• Third Thursday: Social Meeting with guest speakers or light entertainment

Special Luncheons:
Members who attend six or more Business Meetings within the past 12 months enjoy two complimentary off‑site luncheons each year.
Members with fewer than six meetings may attend but must pay for their meal until they meet the attendance requirement.

The Club also hosts several on‑site luncheons throughout the year, including the popular Thanksgiving Luncheon sponsored by the Montvale PBA.

Trips & Activities

The Senior Club offers a wide variety of recreational and social opportunities, including:

• Day and overnight trips (priority given to members)
• Canasta
• Book Discussion Club
• Monthly Pizza & Bingo Night
• Bocce
• Tai Chi
• Mah Jongg
• Chair exercise and yoga classes (three times weekly)
• Fitness room access
• Additional seasonal and recreational programs

Senior Exercise Room

The Senior Exercise Room, located within the Senior Center, is available to individuals 55+.

Equipment Includes:
Treadmills, stationary bicycles, elliptical trainers, and a rowing machine.

Hours of Operation:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday — 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Registration:
Sign up in person during operating hours.

Annual Fee:

• Residents: $40
• Non‑Residents: $45
• Half‑price for new registrants after June 30

Registration fees support equipment maintenance and replacement.
