Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors save lives, but only when properly maintained. A quick battery check today can make all the difference in an emergency.

BBQ Safety Tips

Before the grilling season begins, take a moment to inspect your equipment:

• Check all grill connections for leaks using soapy water.
• Inspect hoses for cracks or wear and replace if needed.
• Never store propane cylinders indoors.
• Confirm cylinders are within their valid date range.
• Store gasoline only in approved containers.
• Keep all flammable materials away from ignition sources such as pilot lights, hot water heaters, and heating devices.
