Board of Health
The Montvale Board of Health meetings are held on the first Monday (excluding holidays) in January, March, May, June, September, November and December. Meetings are held at the Montvale Municipal Complex, Conference Room #1, 2nd floor, the meetings start at 7:00 pm, all residents are welcomed to attend.

About The Board of Health
The Board of Health is organized under Chapter 53 of the Borough Code and consists of five members. The Board of Health is independently empowered to adopt ordinances, which can be found here.
The Board of Health was founded on March 11, 1895, with Garret F. Hering appointed as the first President.
The Board of Health is empowered to oversee numerous health-related functions in the Borough, including the following:

- Testing potentially hazardous foods
- Health-related complaint investigations
