Site Plan Review Committee

Prior to appearing before the Planning Board, a meeting with Site Plan Review Committee (SPRC) - a subcommittee of the Montvale Planning Board - is required.

During this meeting the applicant must describe and present the proposed project. This is a relatively informal process where the applicant can discuss the broad elements of the proposed application and get feedback from committee members and board professionals. The SPRC will help the applicant to understand the requirements for a formal site plan or subdivision application, as appropriate.

The SPRC process can help identify potential issues with an application early in the process and help facilitate a complete and thorough application.

Prospective applicants can review the SPRC procedures here.
